What. A. Week.  Could we have expected anything different from the 2020 election?  Uncertainty.  Ups and downs.  Head-scratching.  Confusion.  Information and misinformation.  And a whole lot more with some anger thrown in here and there.  So what are we to do?  I don’t know.  But Scripture does.  For that reason, I think we need to hear straight from God’s word through the writings of Paul.  Here you go: “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love” (Ephesians 4:1-2).  “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness” (Colossians 1:9-11).  “As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto His kingdom and glory” (1 Thessalonians 2:11-12).  Did you catch the recurring theme?  Walk worthy of your calling.  Walk worthy of the Lord.  Walk worthy of God.  We call ourselves Christians?  Then let’s act like it.  Let’s talk like it.  Let’s respond like it.  Let’s trust like it.  Walk worthy!
