Life is busy, isn’t it?  Going and coming.  Work, school, errands, groceries, sports, dinners, get-togethers, and of course, church.  And you could probably add some things to the list.  Yes, it seems as if we are always going and coming.  Then there are those times when we might say that we don’t even know if we’re going or coming.  And on top of all the routine going and coming, there are the surprises.  Those unexpected interruptions, disruptions, and eruptions.  Now, a newsflash: the always going and coming life probably isn’t going to change much.  But I’m sure you have already figured that out.  And that’s where today’s thought comes into play.  Take a moment today (no, you’re not too busy to do this) and read Psalm 121.  It’s only 8 verses, so read it slowly, thinking about what God is telling you.  Then, latch on to verse 8.  Wouldn’t hurt to memorize it (no, you’re not too busy to do that, either), because there you find the key to handling the often-hectic pace of life.  “The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”  Do you see it?  Turn all your going and coming over to the Lord.  He will take care of it.  He will keep you going.  He will keep you coming.  He will keep you, period.  And not just today, but He will keep you all the way to Glory and beyond.  And along the way, if you listen to Him, He could even help unclutter your life and change your pace.  Going and coming and all that goes with it is a part of life.  But leaning on the Lord sure keeps us on track, doesn’t it?
